A 1.4-megawatt solar carport and renewable energy research lab at Florida International University’s (FIU) College of Engineering and Computing in Miami, Florida. The structure features over 4,400 solar panels on a custom canopy designed to withstand hurricane-force winds and provide shade for 400 vehicles. A distinctive 24’ x 12’ FIU logo is incorporated into the design and visible from above.
