City of Lake Worth Solar Farm

The City of Lake Worth’s first city-owned solar farm is a 2-megawatt (MW) solar plant located on a five-acre former landfill site in Lake Worth, Florida. The ground-mounted solar array features 6,490 monocrystalline panels and provides about two percent of the city’s energy, enough to power over 230 homes annually. It also reduces carbon dioxide emissions by over four million pounds annually, equivalent to removing 445 cars from the road.
